Yinka

Oyeyinka Olaniran, the founder of Thrive Network, has dedicated his career to supporting male victims of domestic abuse. With extensive experience in social services, Oyeyinka has witnessed the profound impact of domestic abuse on men and recognised the critical need for specialised support services. His commitment to this cause led to the establishment of Thrive Network, a safe haven for men seeking help.

Under Oyeyinka's leadership, Thrive Network has grown into a trusted and respected organisation. He is passionate about creating a compassionate and inclusive environment where male victims can access the resources they need to heal and thrive. Oyeyinka's vision and dedication continue to drive the organisation forward, ensuring that every client receives the highest level of care and support.

Our Team

Anne-Marie Reid

Anne-Marie Reid (Thrive Family and Systemic Psychotherapist)

Anne-Marie Reid is trained in Integrative Arts Child Counselling, Family and Systemic Psychotherapy, and Creative Supervision. She offers therapy for individuals, couples (including co-parenting couples), and families, providing a confidential space to make decisions about how to ease distress, considering who and what might be needed. Anne- Marie incorporates creative arts, action methods, and play into her sessions. Anne-Marie also has experience developing bespoke outreach parenting and family arts programs within communities. Currently, she provides clinical and non-clinical supervision, facilitates reflective spaces, and conducts Unconscious Bias and Anti-oppressive training workshops for individuals and groups, utilizing creative approaches.
Gary Craske

Gary Craske (Thrive Assessor and Facilitator)

I’m Gary Craske, a dedicated Social Worker with four years of experience, currently specializing in Child Protection. My role is both challenging and deeply rewarding, as I am committed to safeguarding the well-being of children. Since my student days, I have been passionate about understanding the unique experiences and needs of men, and exploring how services can better respond to them. I am eager to address and overcome the barriers that prevent men from receiving the support they need from professionals.
Jennifer Achan

Jennifer Achan (Thrive Family and Systemic Psychotherapist)

I am a qualified Systemic Psychotherapist (family therapist) with twenty-five years of experience working with children and families in social care and therapeutic settings. I offer online and in-person services, specializing in dysfunctional relationships. My background includes working with diverse communities with complex needs in social care, private practice, and the NHS. As a Black African woman, I embrace intersectionality and cross-cultural work. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, helping clients foster healthier relationships by recognizing and building on their strengths. My practice addresses communication issues, mental health in young people, HIV support, separation, infidelity, divorce, co-parenting, challenging child behaviour, and domestic violence, including support for men.
Maria Takaendisa

Maria Takaendisa (Thrive Family and Systemic Psychotherapist)

Maria is a family therapist, trauma informed trainer, Ubuntu Coach & organisational consultant. She started her career as a psychiatric nurse working in both adult and children`s services respectively. In her career as a family therapist, Maria has worked in various inner London Local Authorities. In these roles, she has worked with families that were experiencing different forms of domestic abuse and has supported both families and professionals to devise safety plans. Maria currently practices in private practice where she works with families and or individuals to help them address the problems that bring them to therapy. Maria is interested in giving voice to the voiceless and the silenced. She believes that everyone has a story to tell and as Maya Angelou said the most painful story is the one that has not yet been heard. Being heard is empowering. Being heard is validating. It is this feeling that Maria wishes for her clients to experience when they leave the therapeutic conversation.

Rosie Bedi (Thrive Trainer Facilitator)

My name is Rosie Bedi. With over two decades of experience in community projects, I have contributed to developing services as a practitioner and leader. I hold qualifications in counselling, family therapy, social care, accredited group programs facilitation, and community engagement. I have been recognised for my work in community engagement and for uniting families and communities in our vision. I am excited to join the Thrive Network as a trainer and facilitator. I look forward to exchanging insights, learning from diverse perspectives, and exploring innovative approaches to enhance our collective impact. Together, we will foster equality for male victims of domestic abuse, support practitioners' learning, and raise awareness to amplify the voices of male victims.

Katrina Dey (Thrive Assessor and Facilitator)

Katrina Dey was a secondary school teacher before completing her Master’s degree in Social Work. Katrina has gained experience in different areas of social work practice and currently supports the learning and developing of other practitioners. Katrina also works independently delivering training on cultural competence for various organisations and is undertaking training to become a professional coach.
